Hira Khan is the creator and founder of BirthKeeper, providing Doula Services in the Toronto area and Prenatal Education to the global Muslim community since 2009.
As a Canadian trained Labour Doula, Hira believes that every woman is the hero of her own Birth story. Hira has been mentored by several influential teachers of Birth. Hira has traveled and studied at numerous Birthing Centers around the world. Hira's background in Alternative Medicine allow her to bring a holistic and natural approach to her practice. In her spare time, she works to build bridges thru social advocacy, and encourages interfaith projects and dialogue within her community. Hira is an old soul at heart and enjoys history, reading and yoga. Hira resides in Milton, Ontario with her two sweet souled boys and loving husband.
