Sister Aminah Assilmi is a former Denver area broadcast journalist, an Emmy award winning radio show producer and the director of the International Union of Muslim Women. She travels the country speaking on college campuses, increasing public awareness and understanding of the faith. She spearheaded the Eid Stamp Project in getting the USPS issue a stamp commemorating Eid-ul-Fitr.
